Persuade everyone to go to Quick trip instead of any other Gas station. There are plenty of good reasons why. It will also be entertaining.

just an idea.

One of the funnest persuasive essays I read was a VERY formal letter to a mother trying to convince her to give back the writer's ipod. It was hilarious because the style didn't necessarily match the subject.

Do something original. No school uniform essays please. Pick a social issue you care about, like whether or not the U.S. should provide foreign military aid. Or why blogging is the best form of social media. Or whether marijuana should be legalized :) If you care about the issue, it will come across in your voice.

(You don't know me. I read your comments sometimes on Camille's blog and I randomly clicked your link. I'm not a stalker. And the marijuana was a joke.)

Write a persuasive essay convincing someone that no one can truly offend you, make you upset or cause you unhappiness.

Ah yes, I know who you are now! I love YOUR dad. And I'm pretty sure you were in the munchin category the last time we met. Glad to see you are still cool. And you've got one heck of a memory. Blue dress? You are insane. But really, block out those memories. Junior Miss is not something to remember fondly. I even wrote about it once. http://geneva-anderson.blogspot.com/2008/02/true-confessions.html
